[bug] slang error using xjed

Hello,

  I think I've just find a bug in xjed 0.99.15. You can reproduce it in this
way:
  
$ unset TERM
$ xjed

I consider it a bug, because I think that TERM have not to be set when you
use xjed, and xjed seems to ignore the value of TERM. Infact:

$ export TERM=foobar
$ xjed

In this way it works nicely.
