[Jed] In-text file name completition?

hi

does Jed has an in-text file name completition like Vim, where you type
^X^F (in insert mode)?

I realize Jed has tab-completition in the "dir browser" and a very cool
^V in slang mode etc.

But I would like to type (in the text buffer) something like ~/foo^X^F
and have Jed circle through the relevant files.

(I use the WordStar/IDE mode)
