Hi,
it looks like there going something wrong in jed.
Testfile:
#v+
$1=1000000;
$2=0;
variable a,b,c;
tic();
loop ( $1 ) !if($2);
a=toc();
tic();
loop ( $1 ) if( $2 != 0);
b=toc();
message( string(a) + ", " + string(b) );

slsh -> 0.92, 1.8
slrn -> 0,92, 1,81
jed -> 7.57, 6.05
$ slsh --version
