Hi,
what happens if a rule match? Are the other rules probed anymore? Are the
test done in the order I declare them?
(1) dfa_define_highlight_rule ("\\\\\\[.*\\\\\\]", "Qstring", name);
(2) dfa_define_highlight_rule ("\\\\\\[.*$", "string", name);
(3) dfa_define_highlight_rule ("^.*\\\\\\]", "string", name);
If (1) doesn't match, I know, there isn't a \] in the line anymore. So if
(2) match, it could match the whole line. \[ and (3) dito.
Is this OK or does it go any other way?
How to match across newline characters? Like " does in C-Mode.
Jörg.
