file_status, wjed

file_status( "C:\\xy\\ne\\a.txt")

with C\xy\ne either a data file or non-existant. returns 0.
According the doc I expected -2, invalid path.

file_status( "C:\\xy\\ne\\") with C:\xy\ne a data file returns 1.

Can someone clarify?
