- Subject: JED_ROOT question

Hello,
I hope this question is not too silly. One of the Jed extensions I wrote
(JedABC, http://abcplus.sourceforge.net) is mainly targeted at Windows
users. Strange though it may seem, the simple task of setting PATH and
JED_ROOT is intimidating to most of them.
I wonder it it would be possible to set a default path for JED_ROOT this
way: [path of jed binary]/../lib. Supposing that Wjed is in
C:\Tools\Jed\bin\, argv [0] would be C:\Tools\Jed\bin\wjed.exe, JED_ROOT
should default to C:\Tools\Jed\lib.
Does it sound reasonable?
Ciao,
