Prompted by this thread, I went looking for jed's capabilities with
repect to long lines.  I found HORIZONTAL_PAN (already in my
.jedrc, but I had not noticed it). I set it to a negative number,
and now I can pan the whole window, which I prefer, instead of only
a single line.

It's not the wrapping that the original poster asked for.  However,
it is a bit more flexibility that jed provides in this area.

Kewl.  Jed seems to get stronger everyday.  OK. It's just me
learning jed's features.  Whatever.  I'm impressed.
