You might try setting KILL_LINE_FEATURE in your .jedrc to 1.

Configure the kill_line function
USAGE
Int_Type KILL_LINE_FEATURE
DESCRIPTION
If non-zero, kill_line will kill through end of line character if the
cursor is at the beginning of a line. Otherwise, it will kill only to
the end of the line.
