I would wait until the next slang2 snapshot before downloading the
source.  The currently released snapshot was never tested on any
OS other than Unix.  This morning is the first time I have compiled it
on a windows system and I found a few bugs right away.  Fortunately
they were easy to correct and now it appears to be working fine.

I do not see how it is possible without some function that creates on
kind or the other.
