Maximum number of autoload calls

I just discovered that there is an upper limit in the number of calls to
the autoload function one can do during a jed session.  If you go beyond
that limit, the autoload calls are silently ignored.

Tracing this back through the jed and slang1 sources, I noticed that the
hash tables have their sizes hard-coded in one of the SLang headers,
unless I misunderstood the code.  Would it be possible to recompile jed
with increased hash table sizes without recompiling the Slang library?
