Hi,
I have compiled the new versions of slang 2.06 and jed 99.17.165 on linux
and that all went without problems.
When I start jed with the default jed.rc I want to see what key
bindings I have. All of the keypad keys (0-9) give the message:
Key "ESC" runs the internal function "select_menubar".
When I activate e.g. edt.sl I get the same kind of messages:
Key "ESC" runs the internal function "edt_sect", etc.
So the key that was pressed is always labeled as "ESC".
This is not what I used to see on the previous JED version.
How can this be repaired ?
Also it does not make a difference if I comment the line
"enable_menu_keys (); or keep it active: the message is the same.
Why is that ?
By the way, in the status line I see ... Jed B0.99.17-165U ...
Is that correct ? I am a bit confused by the 'U'.
Regards, Thei Wijnen.
