Try adding:

  UXjed*background: LightYellow
  UXjed*Geometry: 80x45
  UXjed*font: -Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--20-200-75-75-C-100-ISO10646-1
  UXjed*fgMouse: black

to your .Xdefaults file.  This is probably something that I need to
document.
