The -Wextra does not work with my version of gcc (3.3.5). I usually
compile with these flags:
-Wall -W -pedantic -Wno-long-long -Winline \
-Wmissing-prototypes -Wnested-externs -Wpointer-arith \
-Wcast-align -Wshadow -Wstrict-prototypes
I will also start using -Wunused and -Wundef.
