Jed libs are located. Harumph.

Some dweeb installed an old RPM-based version of Slang before I installed
the Slang libraries from source. Once I had Jed pointed at the RIGHT
libraries, everything is beautiful. I should have suspected the system
administrator to begin with. <giggling>
