The "problem" is that KDE requests the selection target be "TARGETS"
instead of what is currently supported by Xjed ("TEXT",
"COMPOUND_TEXT", "UTF8_STRING", "STRING").  When Xjed is confronted
with an unknown selection target, it returns the selection as an
ordinary string.  It appears that KDE apps cannot cope with this.

I will have to look into what "TARGETS" mean and add support for it.
