Do you mean the "generic" list at http://www.jedsoft.org/jed/links.html, or
the list of modes at http://jedmodes.sourceforge.net/?

In the case of http://jedmodes.sourceforge.net/, have a look at the
links under

  Download

    For download of individual modes, use the source links on the mode pages. 
    The project page provides links for release downloads. 

    Download the latest CVS sources with anonymous CVS access. (see also
    the Jedmodes CVS Howto) or browse the CVS with ViewCVS. 

CVS is used for the heterogeneous uploads by the individual mode authors.
The stability of the modes varies and is up to the discretion of the
authors. You will find both, experimental and matured modes in the CVS --
see the documentation in the modes homepage or the source. The "release"
is actually a CVS snapshot.
