I'd like a "readonly" mode (maybe just expanding the "view" mode.
* I reminds you that this is a generated buffer and editing it is
non-standard.
* It is easier to close ('q'), navigate (SPACE, BS, n), and search.
* We could choose convenient one-letter keybindings for other navigation
and actions.
My suggestion would be a readonly "diff" mode and an additional
"diff-edit" mode.
IMO, diffmode.sl should not bind Function keys and Ctrl-<something>
but use the definekey_reserved(). Other (saurus) keybindings should be
set up in a hook but the user (maybe moving the function to the
documentation?).
