Things can be so easy when one gets pointed in the right direction. :-) I've got Jed Version: 0.99.18 S-Lang Version: 2.0.6 That was the newest version I could find on [1]; the one on [2] is even older. I guess there just aren't any newer Windows versions of jed around ... > If you cannot update your jed/slang to a newer version, you might just > try substituting the 'ifnot' with '!if'. > Note that there may still be other problems. Well, I just figured that version control is a good thing and downloaded version 1.7 of email.sl which has got the old-style '!if' etc. Together with older versions of other compontents (e.g. bufutils.sl), this seems to work OK. However, the other problem I mentioned before remains: Even if I start wjed with "-f mail_mode", mail_mode is not activated (quotes are the same color as other text). I have to do Esc x mail_mode to activate it every time. Jens [1] http://www.paneura.com/~dino/wjed.html#HISTORY [2] http://www.skilleter.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/misc/jed.htm
