jed-pre0.99.19-202 is renitent

jed-pre0.99.19-202 does NOT compile under ubuntu with the SLang
library in /lib and the header file in /usr/include. It compiles
after symlinking the library from /usr/lib/.

'make install' puts the jed binary in /usr/local/bin.

Calling it up with

    jed -e cua

gives "Unable to open require". Using it in emacs mode
incurs the same error here and there, e.g. no search possible.

Needless to say, the SLang path is /lib but config.log only knows:

    SLANG_INC=''
    SLANG_LIB=''
    SLANG_LIB_FOR_MODULES=''
