- Subject: [Jed-users-l] segfaults

Under ubuntu 11.04 neither of the following is starting:
(i) jed-pre0.20.44 libslang 2.2.4 (self compiled)
(ii) jed 0.19.2 libslang 2.2.2-4 (from repository)
Both do start under ubuntu 10.04, both give a segfault under 11.04.
Some debugging with 'printf' already identifies segfaults in main.c:
set_jed_root (argv[0]);
Jed_UTF8_Mode = SLutf8_enable (-1);
(*tt_get_terminfo) ();
if (-1 == init_tty ())
jed_init_display ();
Which goes to show that is not a jed problem.
From syslog:
Jun 5 08:25:26 ubuntu kernel: [ 417.430010] jed[6781]: segfault at 0

Any suggestions how to handle it?
Thanks!
frank
