I am wanting to use JED for all of my python and vala work. But I'm needing some setup help
Ubuntu GNOME Terminal 2.30.2 jed-common, jed-extras and work exclusively in cua (just me). :)
Is there a log file I can setup? I run into LOTS (noob) errors with my ~/.jed/jed.rc file and would like to see the complete list of all files loaded (with errors). Is there any option for a log file like this?
Also I use Ctrl-Right Shift-Ctrl-Right Shift-Up Shift-PageUp, (etc) all the time but I can not get these key-bindings to work. Tried silly things and http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.editors.jed.user/830 to no avail.
Also. There is a LOT of different versions of the same code within
jed-common and jed-extra... What would be the best way to trim this
down? Like one 'colors' directory only?
I will work on the more advanced things like folding, valamode later.
thanks for any help.
Craig A.
