- Subject: [Jed-users-l] setkey without action?

I have a strange problem:
My key definitions are in a separate file keys.sl, loaded by defaults.sl
So far, everything works as expected: After startup the keys are defined.
But when jed is running, I cannot use anymore setkey():
no success. and no error message
For example: I start jed and then I type:
ESC Ctrl-X
setkey("exit","^X^X");
ESC h k Ctrl-X Ctrl-X
==> Key "Ctrl-X Ctrl-X" runs the S-Lang function ".'x' xform_region".
Same is, when I do a evalfile("otherkeys.sl")
How can I debug this?
