What exactly would WRAP = 0 do? Won't that word wrap in text or
mailedit mode? perl, C and Slang modes don't wrap automatically anyway.

I am using KDE's konsole. Does that count as "good terminal"?
Probably not, Home and End don't move the cursor at all (which I'd
love to map to ^A and ^E).

Konsole sends:
Home ^[[H
Ctrl-Home ^[[1;5H
