Yes, "_jed_find_file_before_hooks" is documented in the file
hooks.txt - the .txt files can be accessed via the help menu
under "Browse Docs", or found in the doc/txt directory.

In short, your hooked function will have to read in the file
itself after setting the translation, then return 1.
