[jed-users] jed for mutt on MacOS

A friend of mine must work with MacOS.
So far she could use mutt together with jed, but after an MacOS update
this works no longer.

jed hangs after

loading /Users/beate/sw/share/jedlib-0.99-19/lib/emacs.slc

and she has to kill the terminal.

The same happens when she calls:

echo test | (jed </dev/tty)

Whereas vi starts in the analogue manner:

echo test | (vi </dev/tty)

So, it is some kind of jed problem.


She has in her muttrc:

set editor="/usr/local/hbrew/bin/jed %s -f mail_mode"
