Sorry, I missed the beginning of the discussion.  Just yesterday I was
discussing UTF-8 support and asked my correspondent to check the S-Lang
mailing list archives.  I feel bad now because it seems they are not
available online, and requesting majordomo (or whatever it is) is
inconvenient and time consuming.

Please do us a favor and make the archives available, even it it means
moving the list and resubscribing.
