In order to provide an answer to this, I would have to see what the
changes would look like. Since this question involves future changes
to the library itself, would you mind subscribing to the slang-devel
list and ask the question there? The slang-devel list is designed for
such questions.
Incidently, I also created a list (slang-interp) that is meant for
questions about the interpreter language itself. For example, "How do
I do foo with the interpreter?".
