John and JEDders,
What is your opinion about the UTF-8 patch by Edmund GRIMLEY EVANS
<edmundo@xxxxxxxx> for slang? The debian slang has been struggling with
this for ages (mostly due to an incorrect assumption about binary
compatibility); these struggles now SEEM to be over. I now have the choice
to build a set of JED packages that link with the UTF-8 slang as well.
John, do you know this patch? Do you trust it?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Charl
