The newly uploaded version should work now
on other systems as well.

Of course jed 0.99.16 is required, but an older
SLang-version, as present in Debian, should be ok.

Somewhat off-topic: wouldn't it be possible/useful to
build a jed-binary for Linux resp. Debian, which is
selfcontained, i.e. includes the current SLang-version?
