OK.... I should not edit jed-feat.h. Compile successful.
Still have same spell-check condition, single words ok but entire
email does not work with same error:
S-Lang Error: Undefined Name: ispell_region: Function did not autoload
with the new ispell.tgz.
jed -batch -l ispell:
pat@wahoo:~> jed -batch -l ispell
loading /usr/local/jed/lib/site.slc
loading /usr/local/jed/lib/os.sl
loading /usr/local/jed/lib/menus.slc
loading /home/pat/.jedrc
loading /usr/local/jed/lib/colors/default2.slc
loading /usr/local/jed/lib/recent.sl
loading /usr/local/jed/lib/boxquote.sl
loading /etc/jed-defaults.sl
loading /usr/local/jed/lib/ispell.slc
the new install is in /usr/local/jed
jed --version
jed version: 0.99.16/Unix
Compiled with GNU C 3.3
S-Lang version: 1.4.9
jed compile-time options:
+LINE_ATTRIBUTES +BUFFER_LOCAL_VARS +SAVE_NARROW +TTY_MENUS
+EMACS_LOCKING +MULTICLICK +SUBPROCESSES +DFA_SYNTAX +ABBREVS
+COLOR_COLUMNS +LINE_MARKS -GPM_MOUSE
Using JED_ROOT=/usr/local/jed
I am slow (maybe a little dimmmm) but persistent. Thank you all for
the help so far.
