- Subject: jed-B0.99-17 line numbers not shown correctly

All,
I found a little "bug" in jed-B0.99.17-37 wtr. to linenumbers.
- suppose you have a file larger than the buffer height.
- line numbering is disabled
- goto end of buffer (eob())
- switch line numbers on
Instead of the linenumbers the first characters of the actual line will be
shown
example
keyckeycode 253 =
keyckeycode 254 =
keyckeycode 255 =
instead of
240 keycode 253 =
241 keycode 254 =
242 keycode 255 =
After pressing up key (or page up) the correct line numbers will be shown.
This behavoir has been seen under Solaris 2.6 and Linux.
This is more an inconvenience than a bug. But maybe it can be fixed for
the official 0.99-17 release.
Regards
Thomas
