You can try http://jedmodes/sf.net/mode/ffap/ by Paul Boekholt, which is
a quite sophisticated version of "Find File At Point".

Looks interesting. Especially the line wrapping bit for rst.  I will have
a try on this once time permits. (Do you know there is an experimental
rst mode at http://jedmodes.sf.net/mode/rst/ ?)

PS: I would call your macros "functions" to distinguish them from the
recorded keypress macros (available under Edit>Key Macros>>>).
