Hi,
I updated to latest stable jed 2 days ago and, after tweaking my own .sl
files that set keybindings and such, jed was working like it was before.
Now, I upgraded my console program (mrxvt) and I noticed that I couldn't
read (Help -> Show Key) Ctrl + Del as a different key from Del (I could
before). Ctrl + Home / End do work as different keys from Home / End.
I know that this sounds like a problem with mrxvt, but I wanted to know
how to tackle a problem like this with jed (if possible), since maybe
this isn't a bug in mrxvt but a change to newer standards. In previous
mrxvt release, the TERM variable was set to 'xterm' and now it is set to
'rxvt'. I changed this with 'export' but the problem was still there.
Could this be a termcap problem? Can I do something at X's side (.xmodmap)?
Again, sorry if this sounds offtopic. I just wanted to make sure I don't
send a bug report when it isn't really one. Also, I think you probably
heard a lot about key-binding problems on this list and you may know how
to solve problems like these.
Thanks,
Matt.
