Oops. This is what comes of using a non-utf jed version.

Of course, you could instead just wait a few years for more English to flow
into the German language ;)

I'm using SuSE (9.[023] and/or 10.0) and I'm still *very* annoyed that they
dropped jed from the distribution (after about 8.2) ... I wish I knew why.

I need either need to get time build new rpms for slang2, jed, etc. or see
about using debian packages. Apart from utf, and possibly cleaner language
semantics with slang2, I still don't have a real reason to upgrade.

Maybe I'll wait further for Perl compatible regexps and a server mode jed
editor (which would be incredibly handy for CVS editing).

Since I only sent junk this time, it is not a big deal. But I'll keep it in
mind for the future.
