[Jed-users-l] strange cursor movement

Dear Jed Users,

First, I can confirm that the list is still working (for me).

Now to the subject: Since some time, I have problems with the cursor
placment: When moving up or down and then typing/deleting, the cursor
(point) sometimes moves one character left or right and the insertion
goes to the wrong place (or the wrong character is deleted).

Does anyone else experience such a problem?

It happens with xjed on a Debian system with xfce4 running.

Jed Version: 0.99.19
S-Lang Version: 2.2.2

Also, I am using cuamark.sl (CUA/Windows style of marking "volatile"
regions) which makes use of the before_ and after_key_hook. 
This did not cause me problems for many years, though.
