Yes.

I was using
!Xjed*font: -*-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-*-200-*-*-c-*-iso8859-1
Now changed to your suggestion (without visible change).

I switched to wmark.sl and will see what this does lead to...
Unfortunately, the problem occures sporadically and I could not
establish a pattern or reliable way to reproduce it.
